Privacy and analytics

Cyber Pinger offers optional Google Analytics measurement. If you accept analytics, Google receives information about your visits, device and browser, referral source and interactions such as outbound article clicks. Analytics cookies help distinguish new and returning visitors.

The analytics tag is not loaded until you accept. Rejecting analytics leaves news and watchlists available. We do not send email addresses, watchlist contents or subscription form entries as analytics events. Page addresses and referral addresses supplied by our integration omit query strings and fragments.

Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our integration. You can change your decision with the Cookie preferences button at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection on this browser and removes the Google Analytics cookies used by this integration; it does not delete previously collected data.

Email subscriptions

If you request a daily digest, we store your email address, chosen topics, consent and subscription status in our subscriber database. We send a confirmation email through Resend; digests start only after you confirm. Your email address and message content are shared with Resend for delivery. The service checks for matching news daily and sends only when there are new matches. Every digest has an unsubscribe link. To change topics, submit a new request and confirm it by email.

Unconfirmed requests expire after 24 hours. Delivery queue records are removed after 30 days. We use hashed request identifiers for short-term abuse prevention. Unsubscribed addresses are retained with their unsubscribed status to prevent further sending. For enquiries or deletion requests, contact info@cyberpinger.com. Do not send confidential incident details in a subscription request.

Your analytics preference and watchlist are saved in this browser. Email subscription services and hosting may process information separately from optional analytics.
